I have finally found one of the best blueberry muffin recipes! As all of you will soon find out, I'm a sucker for baking. I don't do it as much as my family would probably like but when I do decide to impulse bake it's always tasty (if I don't say so myself). Last week I was craving a good breakfast blueberry muffin and began to browse the depths of Pinterest. There I found a seemingly healthy blueberry muffin recipe. It seemed healthier to me due to the greek yogurt and the replacement of regular flour to gluten free that I made. I also left out the topping as I'm not a huge nut fan but ended up just sprinkling some brown sugar after pulling them out of the oven.
These were honestly, and I'm not just saying this because I think that I'm a great baker, super soft and full of deliciousness. The only issue with the recipe is that it claimed it made 18 muffins but I got about 40 muffins. Oops! It may have been because they were cupcake size but either way I made way to many muffins that were devoured within a week.
I would highly recommend this recipe for all muffin lovers. Click here for the recipe.

My absolute favorite seasons to dress for are summer and fall hands down. Besides my go-to look of leggings and a t-shirt, I love dresses and skirts. The other day was the perfect transition day of summer to fall. It was nice and sunny out and just warm enough where I could still get use out of some summer staples. To fall-up this look a little I threw on a basic black sweater (which is one of the softest things I own) and some brown riding boots. I can honestly say that I was just as comfortable as if I was still in bed in this outfit.
Here's to more warm fall days before the cold picks up.

everything tastes better wrapped in bacon and drizzled with truffle oil...even scallops |
A few nights ago my mom and I went to try out the new Spanish tapas restaurant that just opened in town. Of course the one night I have absolutely no homework and have the worst stomach ache ever is the night my mom suggests a night out. With that being said, we went anyway and it was absolutely delicious! I realized again that everything tastes better with bacon and that cheese and meatballs are a little slice of heaven.

here's to being me. |
I can't think of the amount of times that I've stared at a blank screen in the past few years. Each time that I try to start typing or recording, something is always holding me back. The majority of the time it's the idea that others will perceive me (or any platform of social media expression) as somewhat off-putting and strange.
As I come to my senior year of high school I'm partially in the mind set of "I don't give a fuck" and "who cares at this point". I ultimately want to be able to look back on my senior year and remember everything good that has happened to me. I want to remember the wild and crazy nights of driving aimlessly around during senior spring, the nights that I can barely remember because of stupid teenage decisions, and the lazy days of exploring the town around me while I still can. And this is going to be the place where I can. Where I can express myself in my interests, memories, and generally anything else that I want to put out on the internet for everyone to see.
Who even knows if this is going to be seen by anyone other than myself and the few friends I decide to tell. Whether this is seen and read my the random people of the world or whether this is all just a time capsule for myself, I'm sticking to this...hopefully.
So here goes nothing and here's to senior year and all it brings!
